Nathan Gerber

A student with too many books

Welcome! Awesome that you found me. #

I’m Nathan and this is my personal blog on books and tech stuff I do. I post both in German and English, so make sure you select the your preferred language.

The name of this blog (Poles and Portals) originates from the two main topics: Control theory, which is a field of mathematics and engineering involving poles of transfer functions, and science fiction and fantasy, where portals are frequently encountered.

Books reviews and discussions tend to take place in German, the language I prefer for reading, while the tech and engineering stuff is easier to write in English. I hope my posts are also easy to read, but talking about some control theory topics requires technical terms, which I try to explain so that everyone knows what is going on.

If you are interested in passionate tech stuff, or literature and book just take a look! If you want to get to know me better, just visit the about page!
